आज का भारत — योगदान (Yogdaan) — Privacy Policy

Yogdaan ("the app") is the invite-only contributor filing tool of आज का भारत (aajkabharat.com), a Hindi news publication. It is used by invited photographers and stringers to submit material to the editorial desk. There is no public signup; the app works only with an invite code issued personally by the editorial team.

Data the app collects

The app transmits only what you deliberately submit, over HTTPS, to aajkabharat.com:

• Your contributions — the photo you choose and the text you type with it (caption, credit line, location description, section suggestion, note to the editor). These are stored on our servers for editorial review and, if accepted, published on aajkabharat.com with the credit you provided.
• Your contributor name — as registered by the editorial desk when it issued your invite.
• A device token — a random identifier created when you pair with your invite code, used solely to associate your submissions with your contributor record.

The app collects nothing else: no device location, no contacts, no usage analytics, no advertising identifiers.

Permissions

The app requests only the INTERNET permission. Photos are selected through the Android system photo picker, so the app never has access to your photo gallery — only to the single image you pick.

Third parties

The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no tracking SDKs. Submissions are stored on Cloudflare infrastructure (our hosting processor) under आज का भारत's control. Your material is never sold or shared with third parties; accepted material is published on aajkabharat.com as journalism, with your credit.

Retention and deletion

Submissions are retained for editorial purposes. You may ask for your pending submissions, your contributor record, or your device pairing to be deleted at any time by writing to live@aajkabharat.com. Published articles follow the publication's corrections policy (aajkabharat.com/sudhaar).

Children

The app is a professional tool for invited adult contributors and is not directed at children.
